Hi blondie,
First you don't want to be planning a full days riding yet, as you will get monkey butt and end up walking like John Wayne .
There must be some roads in your area where you have thought " love to do that on a bike"
The Junta de Andalucia have in their wisdom signed all the the good biking roads with big signs showing three bikers doing endos coming up behind a one eyed driver in a car .
So pick one of these and go for thirty minutes , stop remove helmet and draw deeply on your full strength Marlborough, whilst wistfully looking at your gleaming Japanese creation .
Replace helmet and return...........guarantee ..........you'll be smiling like a Cheshire cat ( there are other county cats but they don't smile as much) :D

Enjoy
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

the drive from san pedro up to to Ronda is perfect for bikes
or you could go down towards Gibraltar and let PP use the bike while you do have a long lunch !!

I haven't been out on my bike for ages due to the track being too dodgy for a big bike. However, whilst in the cage (car) I have seen plenty of side roads, and some main roads, that could easily throw off a biker due to roads sinking after all the rain.

Don't let me put you off, just be aware.

Hey Blondie, I'm back down in el paraiso late sunday. How about an Andalucia.com meet up. You should head for Tarifa and have lunch in Dos Maeres. Or head up to Ronda and have lunch.

 Some funny suggestions there guys, Enrique you made me laugh
Scotty, sounds good to me, the missus is coming back from the UK tomorrow, see if I can convince her, you'll have to pm me your number, what you riding?

I did Ronda on my 125 a few years back, was a bit of a trek for that bike, but now seems it would be toooo easy on my new one lol, so I was thinking of something that I would never have done on a 125(saying that I also went to Alora on it in the freezing cold once :wtf: )

Tarifa and Gib etc are great ideas, I was also thinking somewhere inland, heard of Antequera but not been there yet.
By the way, the bike is fantastic, even though it is restricted it's like a Ferrari compared to the 125, my head actually snaps back if I accelerate too hard!

Sometimes just going out with no destination in mind can be fun and you can find some great roads. I can just never remember where they are afterwards.

We once went to Ronda. My daughter was on the pillion whilst my wife drove the car with the rest of the family. Coming home we went through a big national park. Hadn't meant to but took a wrong turning leaving Ronda! Don't know what the park was called either. But, although the wife wasn't happy in the car on that road, it was brilliant on the bike. Lots of twisty bits. Road was a bit narrow in places, that's why OH wasn't happy, and had to be a bit careful on the bends, but fun. Maybe a few potholes and slips now so, as I previously posted, take care, but don't let that spoil your fun.

Sometimes the best roads are found by accident. Doesn't always work but try going exploring. You never know what you may find.

OK, all this talk of runs made me get off my a..e and get the bike out. Just a 20km trip to shake the cobwebs out, but it was worth it. Long may this weather last!

San Pedro to Ronda, Ronda to Alozaina, Alozaina to Monda, Monda to S P.
Loads of clips on youtube to get the idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLHEYrH_Uuc
