Had a quote today from Ibex for insurance on a 1995 750 cc bike (not a crutch rocket) 3rd party only
€645.06 for one year. Don't think so!!

That is why I suggested you a look at https://www.zalba-caldu.com/index.html
They don't mind what age the vehicle is. They insure, amongst other things, classic cars/bikes.
They don't, normally, like modern vehicles.
If you are worried about your Spanish then phone them up.
Their English is far better than my Spanish.

Don't see why not.
My UK registered motor home had it's initial , expensive, ITV done at Algarrobo so it could be put onto Spanish plates.

That's where mine was done when replated from UK to Spain. I had the certificate of conformity already but that was in English so a gestor arranged a visit by an engineer to do a Spanish one. Since been told Algorrobo should accept it in English. Don't know how true that is though. Either it is true or the gestor got it wrong. Either way I don't use him now. At the ITV they did all the measurements again! It was a few years ago so don't remember much else about the process.

That is why they failed my motor home.
The engineer hadn't included the wind out awning fitting in the overall width, even though the door mounted mirror stuck out further than the awning fitting.
When the engineers report was modified they passed it.

That's why it's handy to know the rules & be able to argue the toss. If anything does not stick out past the homologated length, width, height measurements then any additional fitments cannot be failed on those grounds. That's why side-bars/steps on vehicles are not on the ficha tecníca.It's just a money -making exercise , if they can get away with it.

I don't think there have been any mods to the bike except possibly a wind screen so fingers crossed.
