Whereabouts? I can't see anything on mine.
It's not printed on the card - it's on the chip. When they print out a prescription is shows on there. My wife's is shown as English.

Chip? That's a bit hi-tech isn't it ? There's no chips on ours, then again we've only just got computers in the consultorios recently ! my doctor can only use one finger , it's slower than when he used to write the prescriptions by hand !

Very interesting and amusing thank you folks, but can we get back to the original topic please. Does anyone know if it is (or not) a legal requirement to carry the Green Form in the car, and if so, since when.

Thanks, Parilla.

I already answered that.

OK - it's not specifically a car document but you should carry it with you together with your passport at all times so it comes to the same thing.

So, to answer your question in the simplest terms - no.

Hi Parilla,

"Definitive information should be obtained from the Spanish authorities."

So don't think you will get a true answer............ :(

The Boys in Green up this way like to see your car docs , license and Passport so that's what I carry.
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

What's the problem? Take a colour scan and print off a copy and put it in your car, I carry one in wallet as well. Wish they brought the cards back.
