Does anyone know a reliable web site where I can get the code to reactivate the radios in a Ford Mondeo and a Renault Clio? They are for my daughters cars and she has lost the cards that had the codes. I am trying to avoid going into a dealer as they charge ridiculous amounts to get the codes. She needs the codes as the batteries were changed in both cars.
I have tried a few sites that advertise they can get the codes fir free but once we input the required serial numbers we get a reply that they have the code, but want paying to give it out. It isn't expensive but, out of principal, I out of principal I object to sites that advertise a free service but, at the end, want money to deliver. I also don't want to have to download software to get the code in case the software is dodgy.
Cheers

On the Mondeo try pulling out the ash tray the code may be on a sticker on the back of the ashtray.
