Road bike hire around Competa

A friend is coming for a weekend at the end of the month and has asked where he can hire a road bike from? I know there's a place in Nerja but as it's a fleeting visit he was hoping to rent somewhere along the coast from the airport ie Velz or Torre

Anyone got any ideas or can help in any way?

Bike hire shop along the paseo road, Torre del Mar, between the lighthouse and Larios.

I think there is a company in Competa called Aventura who hire out bikes. They are on the right hand side as you come into Competa, just before the bus stop and Tourist Info shop.
