Cheap Fuel at junction 265 on A7

Postby gerryh » Mon Aug 17, 2020 1:08 pm

Several months ago a new fuel station, Gueroil opened almost opposite a Cepsa fuel station at junction 265 on A7, between Velez Malaga and Rincon de la Victoria.
Their fuel was cheaper so Cepsa didn't sell so much.
A few weeks ago Cepsa shut and has now reopened as Easygas.
They only sell Petrol 95 and one-grade of diesel.
They reduced their prices to below Gueroil prices which resulted and a price war.
Currently, they are both selling petrol 95 for 0.959 € a litre.
So if you pass junction 265 on A7 could be worth stopping to fill up.
Cheers

They are the ones.
What surprises me is that they queue to get into the Gueroil one, blocking up the roundabout, and yet very few people seem to use the new Easygas one where the prices are the same and the forecourt is larger.

Just a note of caution - Cheap diesel doent contain any additives and can cause problems with the engine. Consumption is also often higher so it may not be as cheap in the long run.

Agreed but according to their website:-

¿LOS COMBUSTIBLES SON DE CALIDAD?

Si.

Cheers

Filled the 4x4 up in Loja at 99 cents . Havent been in for six months but the guy behind the desk got out his discount card and automatically gave me five cents a litre off. He is matching the discount given to co op members at the pump at our co op station.

Price of Repsol diesel in town is 106 and five cents more For the super diesel which I put in the VAG. When it gets to about 1.20 I alternate. Woyldnt put the cheap stuff in a newer vehicle despite what they claim for 99 cents.
