Has anyone seen any details for Spain’s plan to bring in road charging on all autovias and national roads as part of the reforms submitted to obtain the 70 billion recovery fund monies.
We did a four hour round trip to Marbella today and through choice incurred 17 euros of tolls for just a few parts of the journey. Presumably the tolls per km will be much lower? If they aren’t and pro rated for the whole journey, it would price some off the road. It will also mean lots more toll booths and employment presumably.
Incidentally the police had a radar car up the bank behind a parapet on the first km of the Pedrizas to Malaga toll motorway. I was doing the limit and an Opel flashed by me. The police pulled him as he left the toll gate. They also had the police helicopter on the 80 section at Rio Frio ( again)
