UK Number plate

Postby daveboy » Wed Sep 29, 2021 6:48 am

I just read in the paper that GB stickers on car number plates are not accepted from yesterday. (28th). You must now have a UK sticker on your car to enter the EU. Another bit of British motoring history lost.

Funny, I saw one yesterday for the first time on a British plated car parked in El Ingenio shopping centre.

Is that boris's attempt to appease N.Ireland? Unless his mate has a sticker printing business.

That could explain the number of cars loading on Monday's Ferry from UK to Spain with "UK" stickers

I got in with my GB sticker.......... :D

After the latest fall out with France over fishing licences I bet the French will enforce the new Law. No sticker no entry or a fine.

I’ve stuck a uk on the inside rear window. Tinted windows so it’s a bit grey. Hope it’s ok. I know someone who was pulled over and warned but no further action.

I remember my Dad when I was little telling me that GB stood for 'Gone 'Broad'.

I thought that for years.......
