SOS re gate

On our morning walk today I heard a lot of yelping which sounded distressed. Further dwn the lane I came across a Mastin which had its head stuck between the bars of the gate. It had one of those spiked training collers on and could not get her head back through. I managed to get the coller off and after a while managed to get her head back through. These damned collers are a nuisance and should, if at all, only be used for lead training and then take then off. The dog was not physically injured although distressed.
