Postby katy » Fri Sep 25, 2009 10:55 am

Have just bought Frontline in the UK. cost £20.67. I am not sure but I think it is more expensive in Spain. Can anyone tell me the price as I may bring some back with me.?

Can't remeber the price here in Spain, but last time I checked it was a lot cheaper in Spain than in UK, have you bought the spray bottle or the pippet, and what size, as I would also be interested to know.

Hi Katy,
Its around 30€ from the vet here, depending on the size of dog, might vary slightly up or down.
Advantix (the one that does for mosquito as well) 31€ for 10-25kg size dog, enough for four applications.

It used to be a lot more expensive in the UK when you had to get it from the Vet but now it can be bought "over the counter" there are some good deals online.

Hi Dixie,
Thanks for the link, just done a price comparison, for Katy's size 10-20kg a 6(six) pipettes pack comes out at ( with -5% discount on first order) £21.51 plus £5.30 P&P to Spain.
With a use by date of 3+ years a few packs would be a good buy and I see they do Free shipping on orders over £29 , not sure if that applies to Spain :?

Hi Enrique

Orders shipped to spain are free if over £53. The 6 pipette pack is a great buy, most vets charge £20-25 just for the pack of 3, 2-10kgs. Ask a few friends with animals if they need any pet supplies and order with the £5.30 charge for shipping along with your own, I´m sure they won´t mind if they are getting such low pet prices for treatments.

I have just had a look at the medicanimal site and they want a prescription for frontline flea & tick, by the time I pay our vet for a visit and prescription it will be a whole lot dearer than just buying from her.
