another critter~Id please

I saw this bug walking across my drive today.Anyone know what it is?
Ive tried to find out myself,but its near impossible with every type of bug there is around in Spain.

Me thinks it could be a water scorpion [Nepa]. Front legs modified for seizing prey, oval flattish body. I use a Dorling Kindersley handbook on Insects, I think with the bugs you come across, it might be a good investment.
