SCHNAUZER WANTED

Postby Jk » Sun Jun 06, 2010 12:06 pm

Not sure if this is the right section.

Can anyone please help.

My wife adores Schnauzers, does anyone know anyone who has a Schnauzer which is looking for a good home or anyone who is breeding Schnauzer puppies, we would prefer a female dog.

We have a lovely home with plenty of garden space. Our family back in Scotland have quite a few Schnauzers, from the large one to the miniture and they have a great temprement.

Any help please,

Jk.

Can I please suggest you contact the rescue centres, there are plenty in this area, and by chance you may find one that has been left/abandoned before you consider paying for one. I know you can't guarantee getting a breed of your choice but there are so many dogs needing re-homing that there is no need to spend out good money to a breeder.

Great idea Malagaman, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if you fond one, loads of web sites for homeless dogs, especially along the coast, good luck, hope you find one that is looking for a good home rather than have to buy one.

Hello, just checking my local doggie home for you and found this little girl

www.animalinneed.com

she is on page 13 in the 40cm high section on the left she is called Toby(lol)

I think the spelling of her breed is wrong in the write up.It also says she is a mix,not sure if she is what you are looking for but thought i would let you know anyway.

I have tried to put up the link to her,but it doesnt work.sorry

I agree it would be good to get a rescue dog but really would like to get the breed I am looking for and that could be very difficult.

JK~i thought exactly the same as you.I was after a British Bulldog,no chance would there be ones of those in a dogs home...How completely wrong i was!!!two weeks ago,we picked up our new British Bulldog from the local dogs home and she is wonderful.Good luck,i know you will get one from the home if you put the feelers out and ask around.
