Does a tent need a licence

Postby metalmonkey » Wed Jun 09, 2010 11:49 am

Hi
We have a small Casa Rural (fully legal) and would like to buy a Yurt as a treatment room and then in time a couple more for extra accommodation but wondered if we would need a licence. Basically it is just a substantial tent (no facilities) but knowing the town Hall they could say we need a licence for a camp site

You'll need a licence for any kind of business activity, your local council will set the criteria, if you don't conform you won't get the licence.

I would ask at the town hall - they are the only people who could possibly give you a correct answer.
