Renta 2019 - Gestor dates

We are using our gestor for our tax return.

Does anyone know if the dates have changed (pushed back due to CV19) ? Last returns by date submitted to tax office and the date the first payment goes out of your account?

No changes to dates. First payment taken out of your bank on 30th June.

I s that June payment only for those who have opted for breaking it into two? I seem to remember that last year my single payment was September?

No, it's always been June and November. If you have not opted for 2 payments, it is all taken in June.

Thanks Sid. I have enough in the account for end of June and the November payment goes out on the fifth Nov from memory.

I will get onto the gestor just in case he has forgotten to do our submission in the CV19 chaos.

I always opt to pay at the moment I submit the tax return which is usually sometime in early May. That way you can see immediately that it has been taken from your account. You have to pay it sooner or later anyway.

If you ask to pay by direct debit, the money is taken at the end of June, irrespective of the date of declaration. Whether it is a recent change I do not know. When I used to have to take the declaration to my bank, the first payment came straight out of my account as it was a bank transfer rather than a domiciliation.

Declarations that will use the domiciliation option have to be submitted by the 25th June.
