Re: Summer regulations
Hi Rummii,
Not seem any Regs regarding Strimming........Fires yes
Due to the prolonged rainy season up this way the locals didn't spray much for weeds this year so are now strimming.
ADDED:: Just found an article from east coast of Spain......... strimmers with metal blades not allowed after 1st July
You could check with your Town Hall for any Local Regulations that might apply for your area...............

Re: Summer regulations
You would have to very close to notice a metal blade from a plastic one. Do people take that much notice in the campo?

Re: Summer regulations
Metal bladed strimmers are much heavier than ones with plastic cord and usually have two handles and have to be used with a harness.
The danger is that if a metal blade strikes a stone it can start a fire.

Re: Summer regulations
Mine is like you described but it can have metal head or cord ...and head of strimmer is aluminium ....just very nervous when in campo sure it’s fine....but maybe best to check town a

Invasion of the giant emojis
In the past few weeks everyone around us is strimming. We thought there must be a government grant on strimmers as few people used to use them. Just wish they didn't start so early in the morning though

Re: Summer regulations
Hi Wicksey,
As I Posted earlier the weather (rain) messed up the weed spraying "season".
And now with the windy days they have taken to the calm nights spraying the trees for feed and bugs..........those machines really scream
Rummii: You could also ask in your local Fire Station ref: Summer Fire regs.
As you're not using the steel blade cutter , just get out there tomorrow and get cutting.............
