APPLYING FOR UK STATE PENSION USING DIGITAL CERT

Does anyone know how to apply for UK state pension using Digital Cert?

It seems you can do it via this route.

Any help gratefully received

I thought UK state pensions were automatic?
I can't remember having to apply for mine.
I had been living here, Spain, for 5 years before I had my UK pension at 65.

Yeah you have to aply for it. Or did upto a few years back.you dont get if you dont ask!

Hi

I applied for my State Pension in 2016 when I was 65. I went straight to the Pension Office in UK. Did not use a Digital Certificate only by post. Look up the Address on the official government website.

If you applying via spain as this was the last place you worked then the INSS should do the donkey work for you in contacting the DWP

how long does it take if and application for Spanish pension via uk Gibraltar and Spanish contributions take to go through?? Spain is were im resident and paid my last SS contribution. with covid i know that the process obviously delayed. I looking at a medical one and i know that they have written to gib and UK, but my medical assessment has been cancelled due to covid and nothing else has happened in the last 6 months.

I am chasing it up obviously actually its going through a gestor so shes doing it for me but she just logs in a see nothing changing.

Has someone gone through this process normally (age) or even medically and how long did it take???
