Transfer of Digital Certificate

Postby DinnoDaze » Mon Aug 03, 2020 11:55 am

I used a (not very good) gestor to do my first tax return. He obtained a Digital Certificate in my name but for use on his computer - all done on paper at the local ayuntamiento.
I've decided not to use him again and he has downloaded 2 files on a pen drive for me: Certificado Michael.pfx and Password.txt
Obviously the password is simply to allow me access but I have no idea how to download or use the Certificado.
I'm using a MacBook Pro if that is relevant. When I open the file I get a window asking 'Do you want to add the certificates from the file Certificado Michael.pfx to a keychain?'
There's a field labelled Keychain that offers 'login', iCloud or System.

I'm now officially lost. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Enrique. I've had a go at signing in to a gob.es site using the Digital Cert and it seems to have worked. Now I have a Cl@ve! I know with the Cl@ve I can update personal details, get a cita previa for various services and apparently check if I've accumulated any fines!
Is the Cl@ve the same thing as the Digital Certificate?

Hi DinnoDaze,

"is the Cl@ve the same thing as the Digital Certificate?"................NO

You will need a Spanish SIM for the Cl@ve
