You will both need Digital Signatures as you will have seperate accounts at AEAT based on your NIE numbers.

elizabennet - in the past, when my digital cert expired & I wasn't able to renew it (I live in UK), I filled in the 210 online, paid the tax through my (Unicaja) account online, & posted a copy of the receipt & the completed 210 to the local tax office (in Antequera). I did this for 3 years & I haven't heard anything from the tax people, so I think it must have worked !

I'll PM you the easy procedure on obtaining a Digital Certificate next time you're in Spain.

Just brushing up on latest info..........so will be later today...........for the above.

It took GerryH 2hrs to get one and he took time out to do some shopping.......................

Hi elizabennett,
You will need to get a NRC number so you can tie that in with the Form 210, or maybe your bank will need the Form 210 reference number.

Digital Signature is best done when in Spain and takes very little time.

Also thanks from me to Enrique. I was thinking that if can I take completed and signed modelo 210 forms (more than one property, more than one owner) into a bank for settlement then I would be able to do the same using a digital certificate directlly with AEAT.
