residencia application

Postby gavilan » Mon Nov 01, 2021 6:08 pm

?If someone was convicted of hitting a policeman in UK (during student demonstration) 30 years ago, would that offence be a reason for refusing residencia application?

Had it been expunged? I guess you would need to ask a lawyer dealing with aplications unless theres detailed info on the embassy website

For £50 you can apply for a DBS check privately, that would show your record. 30 years will be classed as spent.

Are you using the .gov service? There are other companies that offer the service but .gov is more reliable. Just checked and basic check is £23.00

Yes, previously for residency you did not need to provide a criminal record check.
