Autofirma digital certificate

Postby farmgirl » Sat Mar 18, 2023 10:38 am

Hi. My new accountant wants a copy of my digital signature to access Hacienda tax records. My old accountant messed up my returns! I can’t find a way to send it to him. Autofirma is on my task bar but I can’t put it on my desktop to copy and paste. It’s a huge file classed as pkg. I tried sending it on Dropbox from the icon on my desktop but hadn’t noticed it was just a shortcut to it on my PC. I’m not great with tech. Any idea how I do this.

Hi farmgirl,
Send a copy of your Digital Signature..... it will be about 7-9KB so very small.

If you don't have a copy (slap wrist !)........then Export it from your Browser and inform your ' Mr Fixit ' which Browser it came from.

If you need more info please Post.............

N.B.
Autofirma is not your Digital Signature................

Hi ,
Just an update I came across today that may be of interest..................

Autofirma

Electronic signature application developed by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration.
Being able to be executed from the browser, it allows the signature on Electronic Administration pages
when the signature is required in an administrative procedure

https://firmaelectronica.gob.es/Home/Descargas.html

Some sites now require you to have the latest version 1.8.2, so if you've not updated it for a while do it now , saves getting halfway through a Form and find yours is out of date.
