mortgage for a repossessed apartment

My son purchased an apartment in Arroyo de la Miel a few years ago. It had been repossessed by the bank. The company who he bought it through arranged a mortgage for him. He now asks me if he can change the lender and if so how does he go about it. I don't know the answer. Can someone please advise?

Maybe go to a mortgage broker for help if he is stuck and doesn't know what to do...If he googles mortgage brokers near Malaga there are quite a few dotted around the region..i notice some say they also speak english.
