How do I go on reporting a faulty telephone line

Postby ex patriot 66 » Sun Nov 25, 2007 9:30 am

my landline is with Telefonica and has been out of use since the storms in the past couple of days ,thinking it could be just a temporary fault I left it to see if it would come good on its own ,but now I am thinking it looks like it could be a call out , are there any numbers to phone to report the fault and would it be possible to speak with an English speaking operator ?

Having found a phone that works you need to call 1004 and after the recorded message just keep saying "English please" and you will be put through to an english speaking operator.
