A Spanish couple will be moving into a house near me soon.
Is there any traditional Spanish gift that we can give them to welcome them to their new home?
Cheers

Do you know the exact date they are moving in Gerry?
If you do would it be an idea to put together a basket of the essentials they might need for the first few days? (Or is that a stupid suggestion on my behalf?)
Either way whatever you give them it's the welcoming nature of the gift that counts and I know I'd appreciate it.

In the deep recesses of my brain think I heard once that tradition in Spain is to take cake round to new Mummy’s, because they are so busy with the new arrival that they don’t have time to cook.
This might be complete gobbledegook , so has anyone else heard this before??
If it is true the husband might think you know something he doesn’t
