Many of us have already posted where we live and having seen Gerryh one day in Nerja (I was too shy to say hello  ) it just goes to show that you can be recognised from a photo posted on here. Unfortunately there are too many wierdos out in 'internet-land'.

There's plenty of weirdo's in real life too but I don't disguise myself when I leave the house or drive round the block three times to ensure no-one is following me.

When I am walking around town, I don't expect anyone to take any notice of me or to consider stalking me. The difference with the internet is that people build up a rapport and relationships on-line with others that they do not really know. Look at how children have been groomed by adults pretending to be teenagers and persuade them to meet up. There seems to be a surprising amount of trust between strangers on forums and social sites like Facebook which leaves some people open to abuse.

I agree Wicksey but my point is simply that with some common sense and sensible precautions taken there's no need to be paranoid (Not suggesting you are in any way but some people on here seem to be verging on it).

I do not understand why you are all afraid of posting your own pictures on any forum.
This is me last year after a great day out hunting.

I am not in the least paranoid, I just exercise caution, and that involves not posting my photo on the internet. But at the end of the day it is what you feel comfortable with

Bet Brucexpig did not have a grenade launcher or it would have been a completely different photo

There was a court case in the newspapers last year. Two Guys crossed swords on an internet forum a few times. One day one of them answered the door to find the poster from Hell standing there..and it got worse
