Does anyone have a link to the web site giving height above sea level for areas within Spain ?

The new version of Google Earth shows height above sea level as you hover the mouse over...not sure how accurate it is though

I dont have ADSL so cant use Google Earth etc.

I did once see a site which gave the names of towns and their height above sea level but cant remember what I filed it under.

Ive decided to make a leaflet incorporating as much info as possible about my house and its location for the dim witted ¨buyers¨

I live in the foothills of Valencia (Valencia is just below sea level) unfortunately the damned Spanish agent refers to it as being in the montañas so equally dim buyers think is as high as K2.

It gives both physical height and "eye" height.

It's within 10m on my plot (200m)and doing a check on Mt Teide in Tenerife (3718m) it is within 7m.

Look at the top right and at the end it says "mapas" - Andalucia 1956 is in there.

The INM weather forecast site gives the altitude of various locations.

Link - http://www.aemet.es/es/eltiempo/prediccion/localidades

Click on the province and then the municipality you want.

At 955m Google is within 5 metres of the measured altitude here and is exact agains Aemet for the local town at 800m
