As Alan says, and IMHO is difficult to beat, the flea market at Paloma Park in Benelmádena/Arroyo de la Miel is excellent. In fact the Benalmádena area is difficult to beat as a time-filler, with the market, then lunch in the marina or in Benalmádena pueblo, followed by a gentle stroll back in the park, watching the ducks!
Watch your handbags though, and make sure any luggage is well out of sight and secure in your vehicle - you do not want to come back to it and find everything gone, on its way to Eastern Europe! Park in the busiest spot you can find.

Only a small market here in Mijas, but if you haven´t been there is a free outdoor flamenco show at 12.00 on Wednesdays, then you´ll need the rest of the afternoon to take in the fantastic sea views and Spanish village life in abundance.
