It is all at http://www.diariosur.es/
If you really cannot understand simple Spanish (shame on you, if you live here ), but in summary, it says that 300 citizens were evacuated in the early hours of today, 5 helicopters and 4 aircraft were/are being used to fight the fire, and it has evoked memories of the terrible fire of 2001, when a large area was burnt.
Sounds nasty, and I hope that no people are hurt.

From an ecological viewpoint, sadly many of the pine trees destroyed were up to 100 years old.
From the human aspect, yes it seems this was deliberate as two other fires sprang up close by at around the same time.
At the time of writing there are still three water helicopters hard at work, although no flames are now visible and it seems the worst has passed.

I remember the last one, drove up there and couldn't believe the devastation to the beautiful countryside and all the trees burnt down. It got very close to the pueblo that time. Sad to hear that more trees lost, hope everyones homes are ok. What sick *beep* want to cause this kind of destruction and put people at risk.
