Hi, i have yahoo mail and hotmail. Some mails arent being received the other end. How can i attach a "read receipt" to these emails so i know when they have been received, and more importantly, that they have been read?
many thanks,
karen

Re: How to add a Read Receipt?
Not 100% sure on this, but I don't think you can add read receipt to web-based mail such as hotmail or yahoo. Even if you could, as is possible with, say, outlook express, there is no guarantee as the recipient could elect to "never send a read-receipt".
Could it be that your emails are automatically going into their "junk" box which they don't check?

Re: How to add a Read Receipt?
Are you using windows live mail. I am on hotmail and there is a read receipt facility in tools after you click on "new mail". have never tried it myself though
Re: How to add a Read Receipt?
Hi Murbsa - yes, i´m using windows live mail. I have clicked on new mail, as you´ve suggested...but no "tools" icon is available. Can you tell me where you see the "tools" option?
Thanks
Karen

Up at the top - you haveFile. Edit, View, Tools, Actions,Help. After selecting "new mail" click on tools and it is there
Re: How to add a Read Receipt?
Further to my last post - have you got the navigation toolbar ticked. Right click at top and tick Navigation toolbar to see it
Re: How to add a Read Receipt?
hi murbisa, thanks for reply. i havent got the navgation toolbar up, just - send, save draft, attach, spell check, rich text, cancel.
