Re: Iceland
When you get to Fuengirola turn off the N340 at the Coin exit. When you get to the roundabout below the motorway, go straight on up the slip road that runs parallel to the motorway.
About 1km later you will come to the Miramar Centre on your right. Iceland is on the first corner.

Re: Iceland
If you know where Dunnes Stores are in Mijas Costa (Fuengirola) it is on the same service road, used to be the Feria Ground. Eroski have a Filling Station fronting the parking area.
Re: Iceland
It's not as far as the Myramar Shopping centre. Stay on the A7 main motorway, pass Plaza Mayor, pass Torremolinos, pass Benalmadena, pass Mijas Pueblo then take the exit for Fuengirola/Mijas, follow the road and you will join the N340 costa. I think it's the fourth exit for Coin. Down the slip road to the roundabout, straight across along the service road and you will come to a roundabout. Straight over and first entrance on your right (as if you are going to the petrol station). Iceland is on your right. Happy shopping

Re: Iceland
Scot, you are talking about the new Parque Miramar which is a huge shopping mall which is at the end of the slip road.
Iceland is in the original Miramar centre near Dunnes.

Re: Iceland
Oh didn't realise it was all called Miramar
Re: Iceland
Just look for the huge red 'M' sign on a pole that is the car parking area. If you go too far and miss the sliproad, just go off at the big Miramar shopping centre and turn right and drive back next to the way you came, past Dunnes, and you are there.
Re: Iceland

Re: Iceland
where do class as fuengerola centre? the bus station? its about a mile? 2 miles from there. go down the main road (the opposite way from the market / feria ground) till you get to a roundabout, turn right there, and go up that road, cross another large roundabout and the myramar / eroski centre is in front of you.Davanne21 wrote:Can you get a bus from Fuengirola to Myramar centre..?
if you want to go to icelands, instead of crossing the road to the myramar, walk around the big roundabout on the RIGHT side, cross the motorway sliproad (theres a crossing) go under the bridge, cross the road and walk along the pavement to the right, away from the myramar. as you walk down that road, you´ll pass a great chinese resturant, then dunns, then lidls, cross that roundabout and you´ll be passing norauto, then burberking, then the petrol station... then a bar /cafe, then a couple other shops, then icelands is on the left ... good luck

Re: Iceland
Wouldn't drive 10 kilometros to that store let alone from Torrox. Does anyone seriously eat all that frozen rubbish!

Re: Iceland
I've been there It did'nt only sell only frozen food It sold stuff from Waitrose as well. I was a bit disapointed though and hardly bought anything. If you travel as far as I have to to get to the Costa del sol I think it's worth the bother to go down to Morrison's And Marks and Spencer in Gibraltar. And my wife's telling me that there's going to be a Mark's and spencer in Marbella soon

Iceland does have shelves too not just ready made frozen foods! It is also where we tried several of the Waitrose products Get a packet of Fox's whipped creams biscuits - you won't be disappointed
