I don't quite understand what the link is saying other than to travel with carry-on baggage. I have never checked in baggage and have travelled all over the world both for business and pleasure. Everything heavy I wear while travelling. A coat [with big pockets], jacket and heavy sweater. They only need to be on when boarding. If I am away for 10 days say, I do not carry 10 shirts. I will take 5 and 2 pairs of trousers. All will match. I rotate wearing them i.e a couple of evenings and one daytime but a few days apart. I keep everything on hangers so clothes are well aired and I keep a note of what has been worn and when so nothing gets overworn. One pair of shoes carried and one pair worn; plus my slippers, they go everywhere. With a bit of pre-planning it is more than possible to stay within 10kg. whatever the length of stay.

I wonder how many women could travel for 10 days with only 10 kilos?
