I need to bring a clock from Spain to the UK and dont want to risk putting it in a case in the hold.
Will I be able to take it on as hand luggage?
Can I take a clock on a plane?

sorry couldnt resist,
I have looked on several airlines sites when looking to carry some objects and cant see anything about Clocks,
If its battery operated they could be a liitle more excited about it.

Yes. You will probably not even be questioned at security.
Re: Can I take a clock on a plane?
Clocks yes, Barometers no.
Re: Can I take a clock on a plane?
We've been carrying a travel clock ( battery operated) on every plane journey, never gave it a thought...
Now I will worry next time we carry it on the plane...
Come to think about it, we probably carry all sorts of items that look more lethal than a bottle of water.
Regards,
Gordon..

like parcel tape (or Gaffer tape).....try taking it through UK security and they confiscate it...then go through to W H Smiths airside and you can buy as much parcel tape as you like. Honest. Happened to me last year. Try finding anything about THAT on the list of prohibited stuff....GRRRRRRRRR
