I listen to Heart 1062 and BBC Radio 4 by satellite and, locally, Radio Oro and Radio Andalucía Información. Local English language radio stations in Spain are absolutely diabolical with the possible exception of Central FM in Benalmádena.
Let's go Brandon!

I mainly listen to RNE 3 in the car -love their eclectic music choice. Listen to BBC Radio 3 and 4 on my home TV and catch up with The Archers every day via internet. Occasionally listen to local news and info on Radio Guadalete (public local radio) . I have a solar powered/wind up radio that I take outside whilst I am gardening-mainly listen to a bit of Latino pop on Fiesta radio for that!

Latino pop and the Archers? I can just see Dan Archer getting down to that! ;-) You'll probably tell me he died about 50 years ago! That was about the last time I had to listen to it, my gran was a fanatic.

Don't listen that much.......away a lot.....But when I do it's HeartFM [88.20].

Why? Because my youngest is their [last 3 months] new presenter Becky. She does the "Not so Posh and Bex's show" on Sat afternoons and for the more trendy the Friday Night Project on errrr, Fridays! And she does the odd holiday stand-in......

..
Go to the grave in an attractive and well preserved body? Rather skid in sideways, women on each arm, champagne and credit card in each hand, body thoroughly used, abused, totally worn out and screaming …."WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE"

So it appears that none of talk radio europe's 23 listeners are on this forum then ?  . Anytime I do pick it up (by accident) it reminds me of pirate radio in Ireland in the 1970's :D . Their links never work..... the presenters are crap..... and the ads are all done by the presenters  . What a waste of a licence to broadcast.

Back to 'The Archers' I just heard the announcement that the actor Norman Painting has died. He played Phil Archer (Dan's son!) As one person said on another board 'It may only be a soap but I have been listening for 48 years. I shall miss him, his voice has formed part of the back drop of my life from child to adult.'

Listening to The Archers or catching up with the storyline on line has been on of the most important bits of continuity with my 'past life' in UK. Sometimes our life here in the campo reminds me of a Spanish version of the Archers. I am really happy to explore Spain, its culture, language and its radio but I really cant give up my daily dose of The Archers!

Signals are quite weak along the CDS so depending where I am in the car it's either La Mega, Global or REM (now Talk Radio Europe) if my other half is on it! If I'm at home then it's Radio 4 or Capital through the internet radio
