Re: Bike license
Sorry I wasn't able to help earlier. I already had my licence when I came to Spain.
Good luck with the practical.
Ride safe!

Re: Bike license
Well I´ve got the dreaded track test next week - if all goes well I only then have to do the road test and I´m on my way to a new bike, pver 3 years with a 125 is way too long!Although I will have to be on the new license with a 47bhp bike now.
Wish me luck!

I can get by,but i understand more than i dare to speak,i get a bit embarrassed.Do you have any level of Spanish?
Re: Bike license
Well if you can understand Spanish - you could do the theory easily enough. You don´t need to speak to do that - and once you have done the questions a million times you already know the answer after reading half the sentence anyway!

How much was the theory test to do?
If its cheap enough i suppose i could give it a shot.

Re: Bike license
It depends where you do it really - best off going and asking how much it would be local to you and see what they say. For me my inital payment was 200 euros including the taxes for the exams and 2 x 30 minute practical classes. To go do the practical exams it costs annother 50 euros per exam done. If you fail I think you would have to pay more taxes to do more exams but I am not clear on that point.

Hi Princess Peach
This is my first ever posting .... I've been hanging around for a while now and your posts always make me laugh
Anyway, to keep on topic - I have just read in another thread that you have a Gib car licence - did you know that if you have this you are able to take your bike test in Gib? (very easy and very cheap too).
You don't need to provide proof of residency if you already hold a Gib car licence ... your licence will suffice - you just need to provide an address, but your licence is never posted out - you have to collect it and they tell you when you pass your test when it will be ready (i.e. pass your test on Tuesday and collect from licensing dept on Thursday)!
If you need further info just pm me

Hi Rubia,
I no longer have a Gib licence as i exchanged it for a UK one so i could drive my spanish plated vehicle.
So no options regarding a Gib motobike licence for me anymore im afraid,Thanks for the info anyway.
