Digiguide Sale

Postby .Griff. » Fri Jan 14, 2011 7:56 pm

I know there's a few people on here already that use Digiguide but I thought I'd mention it again as they have currently got a sale on - http://digiguide.tv/

A one year license is now £2.99 (down from £14.99) and a two year license is £4.99 (down from £29.98)

Rather than ramble on about what it is and what it does I'll leave you to look at the link as it's all self explanatory.

Was that an attempt to be humorous or are you just being annoying as usual?

If it was an attempt to suggest I'm in some way linked to Digiguide do you really think I'd sign up in April 2007, wait almost four years, and then suddenly promote it? Grow up...

to quote .Griff. (and these are your words from less than a week ago)......

"As you seem to have a problem understanding the English language I'll make it easy for you.. When you registered for an account on this forum you agreed to adhere to the rules. Namely the following section" ..........
You agree not to post messages that advertise commercial products or services or Internet Web sites

maybe not the best moment to start this topic!

I assumed we weren't allowed to promote or advertise if it was our own business. Many posters make suggestions about companies they are happy with.

I know El Cid and Beachcomber (I think it was those two) highly recommended Digiguide in a previous thread so even if it's not of interest to anyone else hopefully this thread will benefit those two.

Just seen this now.Would just like to say Griff is one very helpful forum member

I'd show my bum on the town hall steps if there was an ulterior motive to his post.More a case of trying to save people a few bob is how I read it.

Thanks for the info, .Griff. I always renew mine for five years at a time and am currently paid up until 2013 but have just extended it for a year! Mind you, anything after 21st December 2012 will be wasted won't it?

By the way, for anyone who is interested, Digiguide has a system of link referrals so if Griff was going to post this information for pecuniary advantage he would have used the special link to obtain credits. The fact that he has not done so should serve as sufficient proof that he has no ulterior motive in posting the information.

It did indeed - I promptly renewed for another 2 years.

Yes Katy, I know there are free guides but they are not in the same league as Digiguide - try a free trial and you will see what I mean.

Because Digiguide is better than a free one and I am happy to pay for it.

Yes, same here. I found the programme about 2012 by entering 'Mayan' into the Digiguide search engine. It would take ages to find it with an online guide even if you knew what you were looking for.
