You are cutting it fine! Normally the sensible option woud be to walk to the train station next door and get the train to T3 in the airport, trains leave Malaga at 9.03 and 9.33 journey time about 10 mins or less costs about €2.

Taxi costs about €14 takes about 15mins if no trafic problems.

Good luck

Agree with Annfoto there...Five minute walk to the Cercanais and guaranteed no traffic problems, why not come from Cordoba by Tren?

I alway get the train to the airport it is great and very quick and as stated no traffic problems there is a lot of road works going on at the moment around that area. I made the mistake of catching the bus from airport as there was one sitting there and we got stuck in the traffic for ages because of the road works!

If arriving in Malaga by bus, for most people I think they would prefer to stay at the bus station and get the shuttle bus from there to the airport.
There are 2 diferent "lineas" operating the route (€2 or €1.10)
Times - In a worst case scenario you could wait 30 minutes for the bus to which is added to 30 minute journey time. Patchdog is taking a chance and should get a taxi.
The "Anden" for the airport bus is at the extreme right when looking at the bus park, with your back to the booking hall.

its the number 19, and you can also catch it outside the train station on the other side, past "game" and "movistar".

Route 19 still runs to and from the Airport. Route A is an additional express service.
