Good news. Jesualdo Ferreira has become the new manager. Previously he was with Porto. His successes were:-

* Portuguese Liga: 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09 (unequalled 3-in-a-row)
* Portuguese Cup: 2008–09, 2009–10 (The double in season 2008 - 2009)
* Portuguese Supercup: 2008–09

Let the season begin.

Can some one give directions to Malaga's home ground, coming from Fuengirola, and is there a shop there open on weekdays.

Thanks.

Head to malaga on the A7, stay on the A7 past malaga centro sign and La Rosaleda is sing posted. You can also stay on A7 past Malaga heading towards the turn off for Granada(7 to 8km) past malaga centro and there is a road that takes you straight down to the stadium. The shop is open everyday and there is also a shop in the centro commercial next door to the stadium.

all five goals scored in the first half. it really was 'a game of two halves' .
But the lads did well, played their hearts out and I'm over the moon with the result. that's about all my football cliches in one paragraph, haha

Ok Barca played better football and deserved the points, but I thought Malaga kept their heads up and didn't let themselves become overpowered.
At the end of the day, fair play to the Gaffer....

All you need now is for Cork to stuff Down in the All-Ireland Final on sunday and life will be a happier place for another year??? :clap:

The Gaffer is gone, long live the Gaffer.....
Ferreira has been removed from his position and rumours now that Manuel Pellegrini (ex RMA) will be taking over....

Its been ages since I posted up here but I've been bit busy recently.

Where do I start??? :wtf:
What an awful season so far. Can we turn it around?
I dont think so, but then again I thought that last season too and somehow the lads managed to pull it out of the fire.

A 3:1 win over Hercules today puts Malaga CF in a great position now.
It seems to be coming good for them lately. I've missed so many games this season that I have no idea who is playing well or at all.
Anyone got details on who is doing the business for MCF at the moment?

Best players this season are Rondon, Seba and Dimichelis, followed by Duda, Baptista and Kris.

I was just looking at the postings at the top of this page and they could be reposted this year :-(

Hopefully it won't go down to the last match again this year ( v Barca) though it is the week before the Champions league final and Barca may put out their B team the same as they did last night v Real Sociedad.

Only 4 points clear of relegation..... But I guess Barca will put out a 2nd team against Malaga as it will be just before the Champions league final!
