Piers Morgan TV prog on Marbella

Postby RichardCoeurdeLion » Wed Feb 22, 2012 12:02 pm

On last night. Must have been a repeat, as they were talking about some very expensive houses on a vast private estate where the owners expected to "double their money". There was one fab place where the neighbours said they'd never seen anyone using it. Rather sad I thought. They also showed shots of some half built places and said the building boom had come to an end.
Then there was an interview with James Hewitt. How did his restaurant venture turn out? The film makes made the whole area look extremely attractive. The colours seemed so saturated. Strange to think I was once a very small part of it. Max Clifford said he offered the town hall to clean up Marbella's tarnished image for £25k a month for two years, but they turned him down.

Is it part of a series?

Anybody see it?

If you mean on the programme, then because he has / had a restaurant; if you mean how is he doing, I haven't a clue

Hewits place is called the polo house. We had a good meal there last \july. Nice atmosphere inside. But as my 92 year old mother says...... "You pay for the boquet"  so its expensive. But as I was being entertained by a customer the cost was not an issue 8) .

The Polo House is now advertising that you can go in a have a drink only and it is not neccessary to have a meal.

They either have acquired a social conscience or the recession is biting a little.
