Re: Duraglit
Used to be a tradition in our family of a sunday. Sitting around the kitchen table with a tin of Duraglit, polishing the family EPNS. Then we all went to evensong.
Re: Duraglit
duraglit is just metal cleaner in wadding...so any metal polish will do as long as you have cloth/cotton wool.

Silver Dip is wonderful. It cleans gold just as well too. Just don't dip anything with opals-they are too porous.

Re: Duraglit
Thank you one and all for all your comments, suggestions etc. I found some Duraglit in Iranzos in Nerja.
Interesting to note, for all you "Regular Forum Posters", that of the 24 replies to my question, not one actually told me where to buy Duraglit! Reminds me of my daughter, currently studying Archaeology at York University who has a tendency to, in conversations,go off at a tangent and finish up talking about something completely different to where she started. I keep saying to her on the morning of her exams " Remember - answer the Bl**dy question!"

Steve,
Good to hear that you've found your favourite product without the help of the forum members.
Yes , you did receive many alternative suggestions , which I personally thought was very useful and kind of the members to try and help you.
I'm sure that you must have noticed the fact that most threads on this and other forums do tend to go off thread, but that's forums for you.
Anyway I do hope that when you ask any future questions the ''Regular Forum Members'' will not ignore you, as I fear they will !
Good to hear that your daughter is studying Archaeology at York, my Favourite subject, and I am a regular visitor to York where some of my family live.
Kind regards,
Gordon.

My wife bought Duraglit in Arkwrights some time ago, you may have had more relevant information if
you had mentioned your location.
