On the news a few weeks ago it was announced that Carrefour were going to swap some stores with Tesco in Europe.

Tescos definitely do not have any plans to open a supermarket on the Costa del Sol.
I wear it well...........

Unless you're on the board of directors, how could you possibly know that, definitely?

I was answering the question as to whether the "rumour" about Tescos opening on the Costa del Sol was true or not. How I am able to answer that question accurately is really none of your business Topper.

Just to jump on the bandwagon here, how on earth can you "definitely" state that a rumour is or isn't true, it's a rumour!! to support Syd's original question, how do you "definitely" know for sure that Tesco don't have any plans to move down here, when I for example know "definitely", that they do, but then again it could just be a rumour!.
I've found that unless you know the answer to a question "definitely" it's best to keep it shut!!

I definitely know that the best place for a British Supermarket it in Britain. For Spanish shops then it has to be Spain. :x

I don't like to offend the sensibilites of the andalucia.com mafia but I would be delighted to see a Tesco here.
