Selling Property (I know it's not a good time but....)

Do you have a query on how to get things done in Andalucia, where to find things, who to call? Find out by posting and hear about others experiences.

Well I certainly call my 60M2 property a house and am very happy with it.

Mad. Brit buyer.
Can you ask him if he'd like a place in Torremolinos too? €2000 per sq metre will get him a couple of nice apartments I know of
Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often

OK, so I live in a dog kennel.
Sorry that my choice of house doesn't meet your or Katy's standards but it is all I can afford.

We also own an apartment in Frigiliana @ 50m2.
One bed - lounge/diner, fitted kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a covered balcony. No probs with the size.

Katy
I think they are adding a 2nd floor. They'll then have 120m2.

We have 80 sq.m. over 3 floors but we don't use two of the bedrooms unless we have visitors so we probably live in about 60 sq.m. It's plenty big enough for us...............but then I did used to live in a caravan

How they get a ticket for that in Frigi ? I didn't know the Mayor had any English relatives.
No way could I get permission to put another bedroom on one of the terraces (plenty of room for it)

Builder put plans to the local town hall. They said that it would never be passed by Malaga. It was. Hmm ...

We sold our house in summer 2011 (sale completed April 2012) and we did not use an agent. We drew up our own particulars (in English and Spanish) and placed them in places frequented by expats. We had three viewings, only one of them serious, but they bought the place after we agreed to a reduced asking price (which we had expected and catered for). After all expenses and taxes, we broke even financially.

I think if you price sensibly and market creatively, and be prepared to negotiate on price, then you will sell.

Perhaps a large part of the 150,000 was in a brown envelope
