Evening All. My son has bought a Rural isolated property including a couple of acres of olive groves farmed by local farmers. His solicitor remained quite adamant through out that personal non resident income tax would not apply to the house and land but search as I may I cannot find any reputable source to confirm this. Until I do I am slightly uneasy about ignoring it all.
Could anyone cornfirm this or advise ?
I am most grateful
Spannerdave

Hi Spannerdave,
I have a similar property, rural house with olives....Non-Resident.........pay the Tax using Form/Modelo 210.
Information on filling in the Form can be found in The Forum FAQ's.
You need to be Registered with AEAT..........the Tax people.

You can access the Info Guides at the bottom of the page.............use Google Translator
If its Joint owner then Both have to Submit a Form 210. Paying half the total each.

Another site for info on the Property......when you have the numbers........
https://www1.sedecatastro.gob.es/OVCFra ... O=CONSULTA
Depending on how you want to "handle" the olive crop there is a modest Subsidy available if the Trees are in your name........you may have to jump through a few hoops to get it.........
As your Son may /may not have been given suspect advice....it may be good to ask a few more Questions regarding the Property.........
have a read of this Post..........
http://andalucia.com/forums/viewtopic.p ... ty#p339953
The goal posts have been moved over the years..........
To get my latest License to carry out repairs to the Property I had to get a Licence of Antiquity.
To smooth my way ..The green form......so I can stay over 90 days......"They" seem to want to see this Form and not my NIE one.
A Digital Signature....to get info from Government Sites.
And I only came for the Beer............

Once again .....big thanks...Spannerdave

Good morning Spannerdave,
For 2015..........31-December-2016
Have you read through The Forum FAQ on the Subject...............
http://andalucia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=27897
Its best not to leave it to the last minute just in case you have problems.
There is a Mega thread on this..........
You can "practice " filling in the Form 210 and Validating it, only the one you take to the bank and pay counts.Once you get it right Save your Data.......its an Option on the Form, so the Following Year you just need to tweak the Dates and maybe the Rate
You can pay on-line but that will be a can of worms opening..........its worth coming over to Spain and paying directly in your Bank...........
