Train from Malaga
I want to go to saville by train and park in the underground parking at Malaga station. Do you book it when you book your train ticket, is there a reduction when buying a train ticket. Thanks

Re: Train from Malaga
Go first class by AVE and use of the car park is free!
Re: Train from Malaga
I guess you mean Seville. You can park for free along the sea front in Malaga and walk to the AVE but now the weather is warming up you may not want to walk in the heat with bags. There is parking at the station. Not cheap but not London prices either. Another option is to park your car east of Malaga city for free and get the bus straight into the main station.

Country boy, the AVE does not go to Sevilla, only the Avant and MD and neither have first class accommodation.
If the OP is going for the day then parking at Malaga Station is affordable but it get's pricey the longer the parking period.

Re: Train from Malaga
I daresay you could book AVE Malaga - Cordoba and AVE Cordoba - Sevilla but it would cost far more than the direct Avant/MD fare Malaga - Sevilla! Is it worth it just to get free parking in Malaga?

Re: Train from Malaga
I'm sure I went with the AVE last summer? Perhaps not — but it was a very fast train. It stopped in Cordoba but I didn't change trains.
PS I just looked it up on the RENFE site and there is no AVE. The AVANT train is just under an hour faster then the other one so I must have got that. It just seemed so fast to a person living in Extremadura when it takes four hours to get to Seville from Mérida when the distance is the same — around 220km. (It's two hours by car.)

Lavanda, you are correct in one sense.
The original AVE train sets, Class 100, built by Alstrom of France as a variation of their TGV technology and were the first to be introduced to Spain in 1992 for the Madrid - Seville route. The entire fleet was refurbished in 2007. The units are now used on the Avant fast medium distance services between Malaga and Seville and other places.
