Nicola Sturgeon
Nicola Sturgeon
The ginger ninja wants another Scotish referendum.
Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Keep going till you get the right result?
Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Nicola Sturgeon is driven by one thing and one thing alone, her hatred of the English and she will drive on regardless of the cost to Scotland. It makes no sense at all that she wants to free Scotland from the UK but into the arms of the EU dictatorship, who have already said the Scotland would need to apply for membership and why would the EU want another country that will need hand out afte handout to survive.
I believe that if there were a second referendum the Scots would reject independance by a much increased majority.
However if by some mischance she did win a second referendum then the Treasury should say, Okay but you do not get one penny more from us, no more Barnett formula. no more UK contracts for navy shipyards etc, etc. You want to go it alone then do so.

Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Surely you mean ginger nutter !
Scotland can't afford to be independent.
Would Spain say welcome an independent Scotland into the EU, with the Catalonia question in the background ?
The whole thing is nonsense.

Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Nicola Sturgeon does not hate the English. Scotland hates tory governments. Go Nicola!!!
Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Your having a laugh. She is vile and can’t even hide her hate of the English.
Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Is it pure coincident that she asked today? it could have being said yesterday or tomorrow, then again nobody else at all said anything either way of anything significant today that i notices.
I personally know a person that knows one of our opposition leaders of today, he told me the man said when Cameron called the referendum there was a coalition government and he gave a commitment to have a referendum on EU.
At the time he did this he fully expected to be coalition again and the option would need to be voted on in Parliament and it would fail to get through so no EXIT vote.
Personally i think we are being lined up for a second vote as overall Britain needs Europe and with Britain its over, under normal circumstances i would think it a bit of a con-job but if its to correct a mistake i will run with it.

Re: Nicola Sturgeon
I voted to remain.
I just wish they would crack on now and get out as soon as possible.
If there was another vote, I would be voting to leave.
The Scots would never leave the UK. They know which side their bread is buttered. Both sides actually, as far as the UK is concerned !

Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Anyroads,
Normally I would have agreed with you that the Scots would not vote to leave the UK, however times are now very different and very unpredictable..
I had a few years in 'politics' in the 1980's, did quite well, but left because even at local level there was so many lies being told and so much corruption, I emigrated to the US...but it was even worse there... ..so I 'came back to UK for a short while....then came to Spain... Yikes...
I was a supporter of Remain and still am...
Regards,
Gordon

Re: Nicola Sturgeon
So racist posts on here. Who would you suggest the Scots vote for? Teresa May's government? Jeremy Corbyn ? Tim Farron? Kezia Dugdale? Ruth Davidson? All practically extinct in Scotland. You are having a laugh. Who would you vote for if you lived in SCotland. None of the above I would say
Re: Nicola Sturgeon
Err, Maureenscot, I read no racist posts. Is that not a word that is so over used it has become meaningless.
I do believe Nicola Sturgeon is becoming a laughing stock, she is trying to push water uphill both in the UK and in the EU and is doomed to a very expensive failure, still it's not her money is it.
I worry that Scotland is becoming like Greece, so many free benefits that the country cannot afford, without money from the UK Scotland would be bunkrupt. I wonder why the Scotish people put up with the antics of their First Minister.

Re: Nicola Sturgeon
You have hit it on the head TerryC.
If an independent Scotland was in the EU, it would be Greece Mark 2.
Anyway, for their sakes, it won't happen.
