Do anyone know someone that have made their own riding arena, and can advice us?
We have an old tennis court at our farm, and plan to buy horses and build a private riding arena that is not too expensive.
What kind of sand, with or without fabric mixed into the sand, how many cm of each layer etc?
How to make a riding arena?

Hi MrsViking,
Andalucia is a large area, a closer proximity to where your Farm is located might get you more specific information.ie contacts and sources for materials.

Re: How to make a riding arena?
Are you going to use it for jumping?

Thanks for your replies.
Yes, I have looked at google/youtube, but I I can only understand Nordic or English language. The climate, lack of rain etc demands different solutions I suppose, and I haven´t found that where I looked.
We have a farm 30 min west of Malaga, inland, and will have 2 horses. So it will not be used a lot.
Yes, we will do a little jumping, only for fun 50-100cm. But mostly dressage for a couple of times per week.

Here is an interesting article on building an arena https://www.horsetalk.co.nz/2012/10/18/ ... rectangle/ You could also join one of the facebook pages and ask on one of their pages.
