Roca toilet parts

Postby olive » Sat Nov 09, 2019 9:02 pm

I shall be in Malaga on Monday and urgently need two “rawlpugs” for the pan. It is a Roca Giralda. The rawplugs are the plastic fitments into the pan that the toilet seat bolts to.

I won’t have a lot of time to go from place to place. What is the best place please to ensure a reasonable chance of success? Any ideas please?

Are you sure? It is quite a specific part to specific models for mounting the seat to the pan.

Ten years ago, we would have gone to the Roca distributor n Granada but they closed down around the time that Roca went through its financial difficulties.

Go to the Guadalhorce industrial estate. You will definitely get what you want there. I think just up from the ITV station but if not you we will find a dealer on there.

Bricor in El Corte Ingles has a very good selection of all things DIY.

All I can say is that we have several Roca pans and I have bought all the Cistern bits I've ever needed (not including the seat mounting type you mention however) for various models "sin problema" from Bricomart.
Definitely my best recommendation for a first try.
You could always treat yourself to a new " self closing" lid if all else fails :D

If you are driving from Granada along the coast to Malaga, there is a Roca shop and warehouse just off the motorway at Velez Malaga. They carry a vast amount of spares for Roca products.

Here is a link showing them on Google maps.

Brilliant, thanks.

The place nearVelez sounds perfect but too far out of our way.

We will tryCosta’s Roca warehouse. If no luck then the Bricomart.

Fall back plan is a new seat with soft close. Great suggestion. Last one we bought was for a Roca system too and included a poorly designed fitment to the pan.

Wish the previous owners of our house had just put in a Roca toilet. We need a new lid but it is some Italian designer bog and I'm sure it will cost a fortune (and it's square, so usual toilet shape!) I would get a nice new soft closing one olive.

Sorted. Went to the Proinco store. None in stock. Only one of their stores had the item. They had it by the till when we got there. A plus for service

For anyone in this area there is a Roca parts shop Proinco in the poligono in Estepona and I have to say that their service is second to none. Even if you are buying a one euro thing they really go out of their way.
Can't praise them highly enough.
