Question for Spanish_Lad

Postby P.A.D. » Tue Apr 04, 2006 6:34 pm

Hi Span,
Wondered if you knew, seeing as you tend to have your finger on the pulse(!) what was happening to the main road through Cartama Estacion?

Hubby is due back today, but mentioned the road was up and possibly an island being built in the middle of the road??

This question is not EXCLUSIVE to Span Lad - if anyone else knows, then please feel free to chip in!!!

Thanks

Anj

From this week's Costa del Sol News

"CÁRTAMA EXTENDED PGOU REVIEW
Cártama residents have been given more time to review and comment on the draft local development plan (PGOU) recently approved by the Town Hall. Municipal officials have announced that the public comment period has been extended for an extra month, ending May 3. The PGOU is available for review 10.00 to 14.00 Monday to Friday at a special office set up in the Town Hall, located at 62 Calle Juan Carlos I. "

Go and have a look, it may help.

The roads are fine, went through to El Sexmo, no problem, back via Cartama and through to Pizzare. Slight hold up during the rush hour peaks!!!!

Hi, from what I gather there are no delays, just wondered what the plans were as the traffic is being diverted off the main road onto a side road and from what Andy (Hubby) says, they are installing kerbs in a completely different place to where they were originally...its just at the point where we cross the carriageway to get to our place, so just wondered if it was going to be a simple road widening or if they were planning a new junction as it does get a bit busy sometime waiting to cross the main road....

Thanks for the replies so far though
