URGENT SYMPATHETIC DENTIST

Postby bidi » Wed Apr 05, 2006 2:22 pm

Can anyone help me with my search for a very good dentist?
I am looking between Malaga and Marbella and inland(Coin area).I am absolutely petrified of going to the dentist so am looking for one that will be sympathetic. As a result of my fear I need quite extensive work(went to get a quote from UK dentsit before moving here)so I am also looking for a practise that specialises in cosmetic dentistry too.

Hope someone can help or at least point me in the right direction......

They say there is one working in Coin who ws struck off in the UK (see previous posts) I had a real butcher in Fuengirola who I have since been told has been struck off in Denmark and the UK so be very careful!!

I have now seen another dentist at Elviria Dental Centre a Dr. Tony Nielsen and he is very gentle and does all the cosmetic stuff too. I once had a check up at an english dentist and his equipment seemed out of the ark so did not go ahead.

Katy,
can you please tell me the name of the dentist you went to in Fuengirola. Or could you pleas tell me that it is not this dentist? He was recommended to us and we were going to use him.

Dr Mauricio O.Alaniz
C/J. Cala, s/n (Frente at Zoo)
Edf Alondra - 2 -D
29540 Fuengirola

Thanks
Kamila

I used Dr Chris Littler, The English Dental Practice, Fuengirola Tel: 952 466 056

I had to get a bridge refitted that fell out, so no painful treatment, but I found them very nice, and they had been recommended to me.

Good luck.

Thats the one I had a check up at (Littler). Maybe its different now as it was a few years ago but his equipment looked very out of date. I decided not to go ahead because of this.

Not being a braveheart in the dental stakes, I have to say that the dentist I now use has been great. Try Clinica Dental Bonanza, in Benalmadena, 952 560 229, I have found him painless !

Do what my wife does. She gets some happy pills from the doctor and takes one before she visits the dentist.
