I'm confused as what the Spanish Government has decreed regarding Vets opening. Our vet in Garrucha says they can't give a date for vaccinations or blood tests, both of which are overdue for out little dog, yet the Vet in Turre (about 6 km away) is quite happily carrying out these routine appointments.
When I told them this they suggested I go there which seemed a little odd, but I'd prefer to use the one we are registered with.
I'm guessing it's nothing to do with legislation or advice re Covid-19 but simply their own safety precautions.
I'm interested in others experiences.

No problems seeing our vet in Rincon de la Victoria.
Went yesterday and will be going again tomorrow.
Probably your vet has decided their own rules.
Cheers

Re: When are vets permitted to open for vaccinations
My friends have been taking their animals to the vets in Caleta regularly throughout the lockdown period. I guess it's your own vets decision to stay closed.
Re: When are vets permitted to open for vaccinations
We took the pest for his jabs on schedule one week into lockdown, with an appointment not a problem.
Re: When are vets permitted to open for vaccinations
Our vet is appointments only. Our dog has been a frequent visitor these past few weeks and is going yet again tomorrow. Even had a blood test.
Re: When are vets permitted to open for vaccinations
Finally got an answer. First call got the fax machine but next one no problem.
Booked in for tomorrow.
Lets hope they don't lose the blood result or sample like the last time
