Delta Airlines (USA) own 49% of Virgin and it is bare faced cheek to ask UK. Why not ask Trump.

Not good....I have flights booked for early June with Ryanair which i arranged last Nov and i know they won't happen so it looks like another refund request when they inform me that the flight is cancelled.
Consumer confidence is already low for several reasons and i think O'Leary saying his planes will remain grounded should an empty middle seat be imposed has done his business no favours and future bookings may well have taken a massive nose dive.

The rules seem to have got knocked on the head, they say they haven't got the staff to cope with demand, many of them are furloughed..

Still not refunded for beginning of April flights. Online chat saying not enough staff to process claims. I did get a voucher though.

I don't know why it's so difficult. Surely it must be automated in some way? My Airbnb refund was made within minutes of me cancelling, and they've got millions of customers like the airlines.

I think Easyjet are cancelling 2 weeks before the flight. That's the time they cancelled one of them, and the next I've had an email for offering a bonus if I accept a voucher, and that expires 2 weeks before my next flight is due.

Apparently vouchers are issued automatically but cash refunds have to be processed manually. In a normal world Ryanair issue 10,000 refunds a month, at the moment they are issuing 10,000 a week and millions of seats/flights are cancelled. It will take forever plus they probably want to keep the cash at bank.

I do not think these are regular flights in and out of Madrid. Maybe repatriation flights more likely. My Flight App on my Mobile Phone is not showing these flights at all.

Looks like no problem - for £84 you can fly tomorrow
Loads come up using FlightRadar24, and using Skyscanner I found within seconds:

Outbound: Madrid - London 18 may. 2020
17:05 MAD
DIRECT 2h 25min.
18:30 LHR
Operated by:
Logo Iberia

Unless Spain has announced that people who are not resident or a Spanish national can now fly into the country then i'm assuming these are repatriation flights?

Oh dear. EasyJet have now been hacked and all customer details and credit card details are out there in the wild.
They say it was a sophisticated attack, but then they would say that, wouldn't they?
These companies really do need to take Internet security more seriously.
