I always find people using two hands to eat with chopsticks slightly irritating as well

Is it April 1st? How hygienic would that be?

I have found the ones from the farmacia lose their straps. My OH's mask strap pinged off after only half an hour and we had to do a quick repair job on it. I expect their ones are made in China too!

Ok so my pet hate is the lazy slobs that have 1 elbow on the table eat with one hand. Excluding Asian, disabled or Muslim.

Sometimes this forum is so off putting, i have seen people make a lot of effort to write very informative and interesting posts which have attracted little response yet when a poster makes a comment as costakid did there are always people who are ready to make more out of it than the post was intended...He simply gave an instance of a pet hate, i doubt for one min he meant any harm or included disabled people.

Malaga & granada stays in phase one. But new rules allow the inside of restaurants to open at the same capacity as the outside. Other than shopping centres opening not much real important changes between the two.

One of our local café/bars put in an extended outside terrace two weeks ago. It's paid off handsomely. Today, as I went past shopping in the village, there were full tables (2, 3 and 4 people), 2m or more apart. People were enjoying the lovely weather and some drinks and tapas.

It is to be hoped that extended terraces don't automatically mean bigger rates bills for businesses.

We were talking today about (UK) cafes my dad uses. There is only one with outside space and that is also the only one big enough to socially distance.

I think it will be very important for folks well being to get social aspects of our lives up and running. Yes they are businesses but also , especially in Spain, a fundamental part of everyday life.

Pages back, it was said that it is to be hoped that society rethinks and emerges from this in some positive ways. High streets will be even more dead - now even more people have discovered online shopping. It is going to need a lot of creative thinking rather than a "charge more" mentality to move forward.

In some municipalities they are allowing them to extend the existing area of terrace with no increase in the taxes they. Sensible decision.

I wish the Spanish government would watch this video along with everyone else before it is removed by the You Tube Thought Police because it dares to contradict the mainstream narrative:

I just watched the whole 30 minute interview while having breakfast. Yes. It is hard to disagree with the calm, measured analysis of where we are today - and how we got here. Will heads roll for the totally wrong modelling acted on by the UK government? Probably not. (Sorry to mention the UK but it could equally apply to other countries).
